Thursday 11th November 2021 
Barnton Community School Remembrance Services in recoginition of RBL 100th Commemoration. 
Remembrance Services have taken place today for all classes. 
 
The upper Class paid respects with a two minute silence at 11.00am followed by a short service, reaad by Cllr Dilys Hooper. 
 
All school children and staff were presented with a knitted poppy, produced by local residents with wool funded by the Parish Council. 
 
Sunday 14th November 2021 
 
There will be a Remembrance Service held at Jubilee Corner, Lydyett Lane on Sunday 14th November. 
Barnton & Anderton Royal British Legion Chairman will open the ceremony at 10.45am, followed by the Roll of Honour. 
There will then be the Homage, followed by two minutes of silence at 11.00am. 
A bugler will then sound the reveille, followed by the Kohemah from the Chairman and the wreath laying ceremony. 
 
Residents are welcome to spectate, however, there will be no road closure in place therefore please pay special attention to road safety
